(Part 1 of 3)
Reason #1 Put Jesus in the Middle of Every Situation and Problem You Face Today
It’s so easy to wake up overwhelmed by the life you will live today – the demands placed on you, difficult people, and perplexing problems.
Inviting Jesus to your morning coffee is inviting Jesus into your day.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving. Enter his courts with praise. And remember he won’t leave you, so don’t leave him.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4 (NLT)
Come near to God and he will come near to you. James 4:8 (NIV)
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
Jesus is in Every Situation and Every Problem You Have
Because he is in you and you are in him, Jesus is in every situation and every problem that you face today. And that changes everything.
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him 2 Peter 1:3 (NLT)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV)
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
Pause and think about that.
How does having Jesus in the middle of your problems and situations today impact you?
Invite Him into every situation you face. Yes, I know he’s with you. But don’t go charging in using your own wisdom and strength. Invite Him to take the lead.
Jesus knows things about your situations and problems that you don’t. Ask him.
“Jesus, what is your provision for me in _______________ (your situation/problem)?”
Ask him. Listen. Write down what you saw, heard. Does that sound like Jesus? (Confirm it with scripture or the heart of Jesus as revealed in scripture.)
Now pray it and walk in his answer, his provision and his solutions. As you pray, remember He is greater than anything you have ever faced or will ever face. Don’t leave his side today.
You are going to have a great day!!
What does it mean to you to be reminded that you never, ever face anything on your own – Jesus is with you in all your situations, trials and troubles? Please write a comment.
