You Were Born for This

You were born in this time, in your family, in your town, state and nation for a reason. God intended for you to take your land for Him.

I’ve been shocked and dismayed at the continuing fear, hatred and confusion that reigns in the hearts and minds of so many believers in this critical time.

This is our time. Rise up. Stand for your nation (I stand for America because America is my nation. I love this land. I’m invested here. I serve here.)

Don’t join those who complain, cower in fear or hate. That’s not us. Quietly, take your place on the wall. Take up the sword of the Spirit (scripture) and take authority over this situation. Pray and love. Be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Let life-giving, world-changing words leave your lips.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

But the people who know their God will display strength and take action.

Praying for America in Crisis

1. Let the hidden things come to light. Let the plans of ISIS, all terrorists, and those who plan harm to America be revealed and defeated.

“For there is nothing that is hidden that won’t be disclosed, and there is no secret that won’t be brought out into the light! If you understand what I’m saying, you need to respond!”

2. Rip off the veil of confusion over congress and all our leaders and decision makers. Give them wisdom and discernment to know what is true, right and best.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
James 1:5 (NIV)

3. Rip open the darkness (fear, confusion) that has come over America. I saw a huge envelope over America being torn and the sunlight once again coming in.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

4. Turn the heart of this president as you turned pharaoh’s heart for the freedom of your people and to the glory of Your name.

The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases.

5. Lord Jesus, help your people to respond in a different spirit.

Continue praying as the Holy Spirit leads you.

Most of what I write and do as a trainer and life coach is setting people free from ungodly beliefs (about God, themselves and life), heart wounds, relationship entanglements and sin. God wants us free and strong so we can free and strengthen those around us.

Jesus told Peter he would fail. Then Jesus said, “And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” Luke 22:32 (NIV)

Today, fight to strengthen your nation in prayer.
